I made this cute little flower the other day and I decided to make a few more, in a variety of colors. This crochet flower is super cute and will look great on a headband or hairclip. You can make a flower chain too, I think that’s what I will do with these. I’m planning to put them on my daughters wall. I will do one long chain that will cover the wall and attach these flowers at 6 inch intervals. The flowers could also be used as applique or to decorate a craft projects. The possibilities are endless!
Materials
small amount of yarn
G hook
Crochet Flower tutorial
Round 1: slip knot, chain 6. slip stitch in the farthest chain from the hook to create a circle
Round 2: in the next chain, single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, quadruple crochet, triple crochet, double crochet, single crochet. Repeat the sequence in the next four chains. Each one of these is one petal (35) If you don’t know how to do a triple or quadruple crochet, it’s similar to a double crochet, just with two and three YO respectively.
Round 3: single crochet in each stitch around (35)
Tie off and attach your crochet flower to whatever project you decide.
