This crochet ball is a fun, quick project that is sure to impress. All the stitches you need to know are chain, single crochet, single crochet decrease. This pattern works in rounds. Now, to make sure you don’t have any issues with the stuffing poking out from your stitches, you will need to hold tight tension on your stitches. This way there isn’t any space for the stuffing to come out.

Instructions
Increasing
Start by making a magic circle, ch 1.
Round 1: 7 SC in the magic circle, slip st in your chain. Chain 1 (7)
Round 2: 2 SC in each stitch. Slip st in your chain, chain 1 (14)
Round 3: 1 SC in each stitch for the next 6 stitches, 2 SC in next stitch. Repeat, slip st and chain 1 (16)
Round 4: 1 SC in each stitch for the next 7 stitches, 2 SC in next stitch. Repeat, slip st and chain 1 (18)
Round 5: 1 SC in each stitch for the next 8 stitches, 2 SC in next stitch. Repeat, slip st and chain 1 (20)
Round 6: 1 SC in each stitch for the next 9 stitches, 2 SC in next stitch. Repeat, slip st and chain 1 (22)
Round 7: 1 SC in each stitch for the next 10 stitches, 2 SC in next stitch. Repeat, slip st and chain 1 (24)
Rounds 8-9: SC in each stitch around. Slip Stitch and chain 1 (24)
Decreasing
Round 10: 1 SC in each stitch for the next 10 stitches, 1 single crochet decrease (SC dec) Repeat. Slip st and chain 1 (22)
Start stuffing your ball with the stuffing. You will want it to be stuffed really tight and it will be easier to get it stuffed if stuff as you go.
Round 11: 1 SC in each stitch for the next 9 stitches, 1 SC dec Repeat. Slip st and chain 1 (20)
Round 12: 1 SC in each stitch for the next 8 stitches, 1 SC dec Repeat. Slip st and chain 1 (18)
Round 13: 1 SC in each stitch for the next 7 stitches, 1 SC dec Repeat. Slip st and chain 1 (16)
Round 14: SC dec all the way around. Slip St (8)
Finish stuffing your ball with the stuffing. You want it as tightly stuffed as you can get it. Weave your thread through the top of your stitches and pull. Tie into a knot and tuck your extra thread into the crochet ball to finish off.
