I love to make holiday decorations from dollar store supplies! This craft was $3.75 not including paint, and will look great on your wall. This shamrock decoration is also super easy to make and it took less than 30 minutes to do. This craft is great for beginners and for kids.
Materials
- wooden shamrock
- two sets of tile stickers
- green paint
- paintbrush
- scissors
Making your Shamrock decoration
First you need to add the stickers to the heart part of your shamrock. Using a sharpie or embossing tool, trace the outline of your heart shape onto the sticker. I used the embossing tool and then the sharpie to make it a bit easier to see while I cut it out.
Cut out your heart and repeat two more times. The hearts werent quite the exact same shape, so I did have to double check the hearts. Peel off the sticker back of the hearts carefully.
Gently press the hearts down on your shamrock, make sure the outside is fully stuck to the wood. Don’t press too hard or it will get rid of some of the texture on the tiles.
Paint the rest of the shamrock decoration green. Let dry and hang up in your house!
